EBNER GRUPPE  | Live-Webinar

Live-Webinar.

Selected R&D topics from EBNER.

Innovation and process optimization for the high standards of our customers‘ requirements is the main focus of EBNER Group’s Research & Development. The value associated with these activities characterizes our company group which distinguishes the EBNER Group from its competitors.

With our webinars on selected R&D topics, we offer you the opportunity to receive information online at your desk and to get in contact and exchange ideas directly with the respective experts during the webinar.

EBNER developed a flexible and robust in-line technology for the partial tempering (tailored tempering) of press-hardened components called EBNER PACC module (Precisely Accurate Contact Cool).

The new In-line PACC module for tailored tempering was developed by the R&D department at EBNER. This new technology allows you to easily and flexibly create soft zones in press hardened components. Here, the partial cooling of the blanks occurs directly in the furnace, whereby the blanks are heated up to the austenitizing temperature, as usual.

So, the partial cooling of the selected areas is performed in the last part of the furnace system. The temperature of the demanded soft zone is reduced by contact with cooling pins (Contact Cool). Thereafter, the blanks are shaped and pressed as usual in the press. Consequently, you need only water-cooled press tools for the TTP-process. The geometry of the soft areas can be easily adjusted and moved, using a cassette solution.

Advantages are obvious; a simple, robust system, no distortion of the components, flexible adaptable transition zones and the service costs for press dies are significantly reduced.

The personal contact with customers is a priority at EBNER Industrial Furnace Manufacturing. This is why we are currently reaching out to you, to consequently offer you the best possible service and to be prepared for the time „after“.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us in an interactive exchange on a groundbreaking and current topic in the automotive sector (BIW).

EBNER Solution for PHS-Tailored Tempering – PACC module (Precisely Accurate Contact Cool)

Our colleagues, Carter Chen, Gerhard Schöfl and Anton Oppermann, would therefore like to give an overview and deeper insights into our TTP module and answer the following questions:

  • How does TTP work in the furnace?
  • What are the approaches to solving this problem?
  • TTP furnace vs. TTP tool
  • What are the advantages of the EBNER – PACC module?
  • What options are available for retrofitting or upgrading an existing PHS line?
  • What does the efficiency look like?
  • Open discussion and FAQ

Spend just under an hour in exchange with us and other companies. The event is free of charge for you.

What do you need? PC/laptop, headset with microphone and internet connection.
